Mallin Colorado`s highlight is the excellent food served every day in our main lodge. Our chef and kitchen staff do their work with love and dedication, using our own fresh produce from our gardens and greenhouse, accompanied with healthy pork, lamb, beef and fish, all of which are fresh and local. We prepare our food in a wood fired oven and clay pots, giving all of our plates a gourmet touch. Our guests are consistently surprised and delighted to be treated to such excellent cuisine while simultaneously being surrounded by the splendors of the remote virgin natural setting. A menu is posted daily for all the guests; we pride our selves on our delicious and diverse recipes.
Every morning we welcome our guests in the lodge with a fresh squeezed orange and carrot juice blend, that provides pure energy for an adventurous day. Fresh baked whole grain bread, homey butter muffins, home made marmalades, fresh eggs and bacon combined with fresh ground coffee and a variety of teas...
By midday you will be ready for the comfort food we provide: typical Chilean plates, like Cazuela, empanadas or carbonada in hot clay pots are served every day for lunch. Accompanied by an exquisite dessert, you will be re-energized to enjoy the second part of the day or to take a wonderful nap in your cabin.
If any of our guests has a birthday or wants to celebrate some special event while staying at Mallin Colorado, we can prepare a cake, a special dinner, or even a small party to celebrate, either outside in our barbeque area or inside the main lodge.
For dinner we prepare a three course meal. To begin, you will be served Mallin Colorado's memorable warm soup in a hot clay pot. The main dish will include meat or fish, accompanied with a delicious sauce for either potatoes, rice or pasta and fresh garden vegetables. Each plate provides a palate for the artistry of our chef.
