Marble Cathedral
The excursion begins one hour north of the lodge. A boat trip through the Puerto Tranquilo area of Lake General Carrera, where you can enjoy the famous rock formations of the Marble Cathedral on the calypso waters of the lake.You can see how the stone has been eroded by the movement of the water and the wind during millions of years building this incredible rofmations on the shore of the lake. It is located one hour north from Mallín Colorado and you come back to the lodge for lunch, unless you want to combine it with Exploradores Glacier.

What to keep in mind
This excursion involves a short boat ride. If you tend to get seasick, take Dramamine half an hour prior to arrival at Puerto Tranquilo.
